In this course we assume nothing about the knowledge of our students. The instructor will answer every question regardless of how basic you think it is. Even if its as simple as when to turn the camera on and off. Believe it or not, it’s not always as simple as you think. Modern cameras have a ton of features that can affect how the camera works when it is on or off. The instructor will help students get their cameras setup so the camera works how the student expects it to work.

WEEKLY 1 HOUR CLASSES (Value $600)
Every week for 6 weeks you’ll learn a different aspect of using your cameras. We’ll spend an hour going over the day’s lesson then break for 10 minutes and have a Q&A session to end the day. From lesson to lesson we’ll cover everything from turning the camera on to using some of the more advanced in camera functions such as HDR (high dynamic range), multi-image compositing, and more. We’ll do everything we can to kick-start your creativity and get you excited about taking pictures.

Who is this bootcamp for?
If you are interested in learning how to use your camera, this course is for you. Whether you’ve never used a camera before or you have some skills and are looking to improve upon them, Shawn will customize his teachings to meet you where you are at.
What equipment do I need?
Our lab is designed to work for you no matter what brand or type of camera you have. We recommend digital cameras if you are planning on submitting photos for feedback, but a film camera can be used. No other equipment is needed.
Is the lab online?
The lab is 100% online. You can watch the videos at your own pace & we record the live session so you can watch it if you can’t make it live.
Why is this bootcamp so effective?
While the class is online, your participation is vital. This is not like other classes where you just listen to videos or read about what you are learning. By getting out and putting your learnings into practice & then getting optional feedback your opportunities for growing your skills are greater than a traditional class.
